Troubleshooting Playbooks
Cloud Synchronisation Stalls or Authentication Errors
Typically caused by expired cloud OAuth tokens or altered S3 credentials. In Sino, navigate to Settings > Cloud Storage, select the affected provider (Google Drive, MEGA or an S3 profile), and re-authenticate to refresh session tokens without affecting encrypted blobs.
Hardware Security Enclave & Biometric Re-Binding
Adding a new fingerprint or face invalidates Sino's biometric key on purpose, which switches biometric unlock off. Unlock with your master password, then switch biometric unlock on again in Settings. On Windows, the same applies if your Windows Hello setup changes.
Restoring Vault to a New Mobile Phone or Desktop Workstation
Install Sino on the new device, choose Restore Vault, then Use 24-Word IronSeed (or Restore with Passkey), sign in to a cloud that holds your vault and set a new master password. Sino rebuilds your library from your clouds. See the Recovery Guide for every option.
Dokany Virtual Drive Mounting (Sino Desktop)
Sino Desktop mounts your unlocked vault as a drive using the first free drive letter starting from S:; Local Vault folders also accept new and edited files. Sino runs with standard user privileges and requires no administrative rights. If the drive does not appear, verify that the Dokany driver is installed and that the vault is unlocked.
