System Requirements
Everything Sino needs, in one place. New to Sino? Follow the five-minute setup.
Android
- Android versionAndroid 10 or later, on phones and tablets.
- Google DriveGoogle Play services, to sign in to Google Drive. MEGA and S3 storage do not need it.
- Quick unlockOptional: a fingerprint or face sensor. Its key is kept in the Android Keystore (StrongBox when your phone has one).
- Recovery passkeyOptional: a passkey provider that supports the PRF extension, such as Google Password Manager. Sino tells you if yours does not.
Windows
- Windows versionWindows 10 (version 1809 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit (x64).
- Security chipTPM 2.0 recommended. Without one, Sino protects its keys with Windows itself (DPAPI) instead. Windows Hello passkeys on the PC need a ready TPM.
- Virtual driveOptional: the free Dokany v2 driver, for the S: drive. Sino offers the download if it is missing.
- Windows Hello and passkeysOptional, for quick unlock and a recovery passkey. Needs a recent version of Windows; Sino shows these options only when they work. The passkey can also live on your phone or a security key.
