Legacy Readiness Guide

Ensure your Sino OrbitMesh Bridge works by preparing your cloud access for your beneficiaries.

Google Drive

Inactive Account Manager

Google provides an official way to share your account data if you become inactive.

Setup Instructions

  1. Go to your Google account settings and search for Inactive Account Manager.
  2. Add your beneficiary's email address as a trusted contact.
  3. Select Google Drive as one of the specific data buckets to share.
  4. Your beneficiary will receive a secure download link automatically after your specified inactivity period.

MEGA

Credential & Folder Sharing

MEGA utilizes client-side zero-knowledge accounts. You must ensure your beneficiary can authenticate.

Setup Instructions

  1. Share your MEGA email and login password securely using a shared password manager vault.
  2. Ensure they have access to your 2FA (TOTP) seed or your account's offline PDF recovery key.
  3. Alternatively, share the encrypted SinoBackup folder directly with their MEGA account (requires them to create a free MEGA account).

S3 (AWS / R2 / B2)

IAM Policy Delegation

S3 is enterprise-grade object storage. The safest way to delegate is creating restricted access keys.

Setup Instructions

  1. Log into your S3 console and create a new restricted IAM User for your beneficiary.
  2. Attach an IAM policy granting read-only access (e.g., s3:GetObject, s3:ListBucket) restricted specifically to your vault bucket.
  3. Write down the generated Access Key ID and Secret Access Key and store it in their physical or digital handover packet.

Copy the pre-written instructions below to include in your legal will, password manager, or secure handover physical envelope. 

SINO LEGACY HANDOVER PACKET

In the event that I am no longer able to manage my digital assets, 
I have prepared this guide for you to access my secure media vault.

1. SOFTWARE: Download the 'Sino' app on your Android device, or launch Sino Desktop for Windows (https://sinosecure.app/downloads).
2. THE MASTER KEY: I have securely shared my 24-word IronSeed (BIP-39), IronCore Passkey, or sealed a hybrid ML-KEM-768 + RSA-OAEP legacy package for you.
3. THE STORAGE VAULT: You will need access to my cloud storage (Google Drive / MEGA / S3 Object Storage).

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Open Sino and select 'Restore Existing Vault' (or 'Claim Legacy Access').
- Connect to my cloud storage using the credentials I have shared.
- Enter the 24-word IronSeed, authenticate with the shared IronCore Passkey, or import your private key to decrypt the hybrid ML-KEM-768 + RSA-OAEP legacy package.
- Sino will verify AegisStream container integrity ([SINO][0x02]) and restore all encrypted files into your vault.
